Our Purpose

The organized unit of UNITED METHODIST WOMEN shall be a community of women whose PURPOSE is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church

Our Unit

Currently, our UMW unit has twenty-two members who come from our congregation and the local community. Being Methodist is not a requirement! We meet monthly except for the months of July, August and February. Meetings are held on the third Monday of each month at 7:00 P.M. either at the church or in a member's home. All women are welcome! For a small group, we are proud of the many ways we've been able to reach out to others - locally, nationally and globally. Come see what we're about.

UMW SPRING TEA SOCIAL

A wonderful time was had at our UMW Spring Tea Social. The ladies brought beautiful teacups of all kinds. In a short Show and Tell session, interesting stories were shared about some very interesting items. We had fun trying to answer nostalgic quizzes. A variety of teas and delicious goodies were enjoyed by all who attended. (See pictures below)
