Come and visit to meet our new pastor, Sarah Borgstrom Lee!
I'd like to take a moment to introduce myself. My name is Sarah Borgstrom Lee, pastor of the Changewater UMC. Some of my favorite things about being a pastor include leading worship, equipping lay leaders, and growing in love with God and one another through small groups and other learning opportunities.
I completed my second year of ministry at Centenary UMC in Lambertville, and my first year at Linvale UMC. Prior to these appointments, I served at Newtown United Methodist Church for a year as their pastoral intern, and before that I worked as a part-time director of youth ministries for three years at Broad Street United Methodist Church in Burlington, NJ.
I received my pastoral training from Princeton Theological Seminary and I did my undergraduate work at Arcadia University, where I graduated with a major in psychology and a minor in ceramic arts. After college, I worked with adults with traumatic brain injuries in a variety of roles, including case management and cognitive vocational therapy, before I began seminary. My husband, Josh, and I enjoy being parents, hiking, camping, and watching TV in our free time
Well, now you know a little bit about me. I'll leave you with what is currently my favorite Scripture verse, "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go." (Joshua 19).
May the Lord Bless You and keep you. I look forward to meeting you all soon!
Grace and Peace,
Sarah Borgstrom Lee
(Pastor Sarah began her church work in Youth Ministry in 2010. She has been serving churches ever since. Sarah received her M.Div from Princeton Theological Seminary and a B.A. in psychology and a Minor in ceramics from Arcadia University.
