Sunday, Aug. 25, 2019 - Last day for Flood Bucket supply collection supplies for the United Methodist Committee on Relief's buckets to go to flooded areas for clean-up after flooding.  Here's a list of specific items they are requesting.  Please bring them to church with you on Sunday:


  • Five Gallon Plastic Bucket with a handle and resealable lid (new and clean)...

    To Fill One Five Gallon Plastic Bucket:

  • One 32 - 64 oz. bottle liquid laundry detergent

  • One 16 - 40 oz. bottle liquid concentrate household cleaner (no spray cleaners)

  • One 16 - 34 oz. bottle liquid dish soap

  • One 4 - 8 oz. - pump spray insect repellent (pack of 10 - 20 wipes also acceptable)  "pump spray bottles must have protective covers"

  • One Scrub brush - with or without a handle

  • Eighteen re-useable cleaning wipes - no terrycloth, microfiber or paper towels - remove from packaging

  • Five scouring pad sponges - no stainless steel or pads with soap in them - remove from packaging

  • 36 -50 clothespins

  • One 50 to 100 foot clothesline (cotton or plastic line)

  • One 24 roll of heavy-duty trash bags (33-45 gallon sizes) - remove from packaging

  • Five N95 particulate respirator dust masks (1-3 mm thickness) - No surgical masks

  • Two pairs kitchen gloves (Durable for multiple uses.  Remove from packaging

  • One pair work gloves  (Cotton with leather palm or all leather)



Hygiene Kit Materials

  • One hand towel (15x25 - 17x27 inches)  No kitchen, cleaning or microfiber towels

  • One washcloth - No kitchen, cleaning or microfiber cloths

  • One comb - must be sturdy w/ at least 6 inches of teeth (no pocket combs or picks)  Rat tail combs and combs without handles are okay but must have 6 in. of teeth

  • One toenail or fingernail clipper (No emery boards or metal nail files)

  • One bath-size bar of soap (3 oz or larger)  No Ivory or Jergen's soap - must be in wrapper

  • One adult toothbrush without personal advertising.  Do not remove packaging

  • Ten adhesive bandages (3/4 by 3 inches)  Common household type

  • One one-gallon size resealable plastic bag.

Food Pantry Collection - Continuing - Canned and dry goods are being accepted for donation to our local food pantries in Lebanon Twp. and Washington.  Please bring your donations with you to church on any Sunday.  We alternate taking them to one of these pantries each month. 




 If using cash instead of a check for your Weekly Offering or donations, please place in an envelope with your name and date marked on it in order to receive credit for a year-end church donation letter for Income Tax purposes.  White envelopes are provided at the back of the church if you need one.   Thank you for your donations.


Sunday School is temporarily on hold due to low childrens' attendance.  Children are welcome to join us for the Worship Service at 9:00AM.  a "Busy Bag" will be provided to keep the little ones' attention if they get "wiggly".  We look forward to seeing you and your family and hope to rebuild our Sunday School in the future!

Items needed the most:

Pillows, new twin sheets, baby monitors, laundry detergent, dish detergent, sponges, cleaning supplies, garbage bags, sandwich bags, aluminum foil, plastic wrap, paper towels, and toilet tissue.   Anything you can contribute would be greatly appreciated.  Bring them to church with you on Sundays.

"The Cluttered Closet Thrift Shop" - at the Round Valley UMC at 30 Main St. in Lebanon Borough, NJ   08833.  Open Monday 10-1PM, 6:30-8:30PM, Wednesday 10-1PM, and Sunday 12-2PM. If you want to donate some clothing or other items, please call Margaret S. @ 908-236-2841



Please share your blessings with others by supporting our local food pantries.  We donate to two facilities.  Please bring non-perishable donations to the Church with you on any Sunday.

Refrigerated items such as meats or butter should be delivered directly to the First Presbyterian Church Food Pantry on Church St. in Washington Boro between 9 and 11 AM weekdays. Kindly bring your donations inside to the lower level. Non-perishable items may be brought to the Changewater Church on Sunday mornings before the service or taken directly to the Presbyterian Church.  

The North Hunterdon Community Food Pantry is located in  Lebanon Twp. and has relocated to the Hoffman House (Building #24) on Skinner Rd. off of Sanatorium Rd. near Glen Gardner on the grounds of the old Hagedorn Hospital facility.  Please bring your donations to the church on Sunday mornings.   If you can help out at the food pantry, contact Ruth at 908-638-6661 for info.   They can always use help with unloading the truck, set-up, and distribution.

** Norwescap truck usually comes about 8:45 - 9:00 AM on Collection and Set up Day, which is typically a Wednesday, and Distribution Day is usually on a Thursday once a month.
