The Francis Asbury Parish is a shared ministry of 10 United Methodist churches in our area. Below is a listing of some of those events that we all participate in.

Parish Breakfast Meeting Schedule: TBA
Midweek Parish Advent Bible Study - at the Washington UMC Library at 116 E. Washington Ave. (Rt. 57), Washington NJ 07882 - 12:00 Noon until 1:00 on Wednesdays, Dec. 11, and 18th. It will be lead by Jean & Evan, Andrew and Dura, then Ben Lee and Amanda. All are welcome!
Parish-wide Young Adult Fellowship (ages 19-30) - Sunday, December 22 - at the Washington UMC on Rt. 57 at 1:00 PM. It will be led by Pastor Evan Dodge.
The Third Saturday of the month - A Free Community Lunch is always held at the Washington UMC and is served from 11 AM to 1 PM. Soup, sandwich, dessert and beverage are served. Come and share a light lunch and a time of fellowship. All are welcome!
Note: Unless noted as free, there may be a fee for church breakfasts and dinners. Check with individual church's websites for pricing.
Interfaith Hospitality Network - Family Promise of Warren County - Oxford, NJ - ongoing supply needs (bring to church with you for drop-off): paper towels, toilet paper, garbage bags, cleaners, Lysol wipes, sandwich bags, aluminum foil, and plastic wrap. Anything you can contribute would be greatly appreciated!

Below are listed the items needed to fill Cleaning Buckets:
5-gallon bucket with resealable lid - Buckets from fast food restaurants or bakeries can be used if washed and cleaned. Do not use buckets that have stored chemicals such as paint or pool cleaner. Bucket can have advertisements on it.
Liquid laundry detergent - (two 25 oz. or one 50 oz. bottles only)
Liquid household cleaner - 12 - 16 oz. liquid cleaner that can be mixed with water (no spray cleaners.
Dish soap - 16 to 28 oz. bottle, any brand
1 can air freshener - aerosol or pump
1 insect repellant spray - 6 - 14 oz. aerosol spray pump
1 scrub brush - plastic or wooden handle
18 cleaning wipes - Handi-wipes or reusable wipes - no terry cleaning towels (remove from packaging)
7 sponges - remove from wrapper
5 scouring pads - remove from wrapper
50 clothespins - remove from packaging
clothesline - two 50 ft. or one 100 ft. cotton or plastic
24 roll heavy duty trash bags - remove from box
5 dust masks
2 pair disposable kitchen gloves - rubber or latex. remove from packaging
1 pair work gloves - cotton or leather
Assembling Directions: Place all liquid items in the bucket first. Place remaining items in the bucket, fitting them around and between the liquid items. Sponges, scouring pads, clothespins and trash bags can be separated in order to fit all of the items in the bucket. Ensure the lid is closed securely. Important Note: all items must be new except for the actual bucket and lid.
